You can create custom cards in the "Card Types" section of Settings.
Cardinal's foundational building block is cards. Every team using Cardinal will have document cards and discussion cards. More built-in card types will be added in the future.
Custom cards are a way for your team to further customize Cardinal to meet your unique needs. They allow you to define a card type with specific fields and then create and edit data relating to those types.
Custom Card Type Examples
- We have an Issue custom card type at Cardinal, with Status, Issue Type, and Description fields. We use it to track bugs in Cardinal.
- We have a Demo Call custom card type at Cardinal that we use when we do a Demo for a team interested in using Cardinal that helps us track who we did the demo for, how it went, and other notes about the call.
- One customer uses a custom card type to track property loans, with fields for all of the details of the property and the loan.
